UST 1499-3 was a 100-gallon waste oil tank connected to the Power Plant (Bldg 1499). Located at the east side of Building 1499. The tank was pulled in 1997, and DRO was detected above Method 2 cleanup levels. Trichlorobenzenes were also detected in the tank excavation, below cleanup levels, indicating that other wastes were deposed of into the oil-water separator that fed the tank. Contaminated soil was used as backfill after pulling the tank
